Emergency Information:
If you have a medical, fire, or other emergency please dial 9-1-1. City law enforcement is provided by the Lancaster County Sheriff's Office and Deputies are assigned to the City of Hickman. If you have a non-emergency you may call dispatch at 402.441.6500.
If you have an electric, water, or sewer issue you may call the City Office at 402.792.2212. If there is an issue with the City parks or recreation activities, please contact the City's Parks and Recreation Director at 402.580.3473.

Digger's Hotline of Nebraska:
If you are planning on digging, please call the Digger's Hotline at 8-1-1.. A 48-hour notice (not including weekends or holidays) is required before digging begins. All underground cable companies will be contacted and the lines will be located and flagged to avoid cutting electric, gas, phone, or cable TV lines.
Dogs:
Any person who shall own, keep, or harbor a dog over the age of six months within the City shall within 30 days after acquisition of the said dog acquire a license for each such dog annually by or before March 31 of each year. Dog licenses are available at the City Office or click here.
Voting:
